Itinerary:

Day 1 – 10/23 – Friday – BOSTON / TEL AVIV At the scheduled time, check in for your flight to Tel Aviv. Overnight onboard.

Day 2 – 10/24 – Saturday – Arrival in TEL AVIV Arrival in Tel Aviv in the afternoon, assistance with baggage procedures. Transfer to the hotel, check-in, dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – 10/25 – Sunday – TEL AVIV – TIBERIAS Breakfast. Visit the city of Tel Aviv-Jaffa. Visit Joppa – associated with the prophet Jonah and the whale, and the house of Simon the tanner where Peter stayed for a time. Continue along the Via Maris to Caesarea Maritima, the ancient Roman city built by Herod the Great on the Mediterranean coast. There we will visit the ruins of the ancient city and the Roman theater and view the ancient aqueduct built in that era. Lunch included: Falafel – typical food. Proceed to Mount Carmel – Muhraqa – site of Elijah’s contest against false gods. We will have a view of the entire Valley of Armageddon. Arrival at the hotel in Tiberias, check-in, dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – 10/26 – Monday – TIBERIAS – GALILEE Breakfast. Visit the First Century Boat Museum; boat ride on the Sea of Galilee (worship with Joshua Aaron); continue to the Mount of Beatitudes – site of the Sermon on the Mount. Capernaum – fishing village where Jesus began his ministry, the former house of Peter’s mother-in-law where Jesus stayed, and the ancient synagogue where he preached. Visit Tabgha – site of the multiplication of loaves and fish – and the Primacy of Peter on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Finish at the Jordan River. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – 10/27 – Tuesday – TIBERIAS - BETHLEHEM - JERUSALEM Breakfast. Begin with Beth Shean, travel south through the Jordan Valley, passing Jericho, view of the Mount of Temptation, Elisha’s spring and Zacchaeus’s sycamore. Visit Bethany – Al-Eizariya – tomb of Lazarus. Arrival in Bethlehem and visit to the Church of the Nativity and the Shepherds’ Field – the site where angels announced the birth of Jesus to the shepherds. Hotel check-in, dinner and overnight.

Day 6 – 10/28 – Wednesday – JERUSALEM Breakfast. Begin at the Mount of Olives and walk the Palm Sunday route to the Garden of Gethsemane. Continue to Mount Zion, visit the Cenacle – site of the Last Supper. Enter the Old City via Zion Gate; visit the Jewish Quarter including the Cardo; the ruins of Herod’s Palace and finishing at the Western Wall and the southern steps of the Temple at the Davidson Center. City of David; Hezekiah’s Tunnel; Pool of Siloam. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 7 – 10/29 – Thursday – JERUSALEM – MASADA – DEAD SEA - JERUSALEM Breakfast. Travel to Masada – Herod’s fortress, the last stronghold of the Jews before the Roman capture. Ein Gedi and the Dead Sea, time to enjoy the therapeutic waters of the Dead Sea. Return to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 8 – 10/30 – Friday – JERUSALEM Breakfast. Tour the new city, view the Knesset – Israel’s Parliament; Israel Museum – including the Second Temple Model and the Shrine of the Book; Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Center. Afternoon free to stroll the Machane Yehuda and Ben Yehuda streets. Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 9 – 11/31 – Saturday – JERUSALEM (Note: date given is 11/31, which does not exist; likely intended 10/31.) Breakfast. We will ascend to the Temple Mount, then proceed to the Pools of Bethesda. Time of worship in St. Anne’s. Follow the Via Dolorosa through the Old City and finish the day at the Garden Tomb – HOLY COMMUNION. Free time for shopping in the Arab market. Evening departure for the Light Show at the Tower of David. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 10 – 11/01 – Sunday – JERUSALEM / TEL AVIV / AIRPORT / BOSTON At the agreed time, transfer to Tel Aviv airport for the return flight to Boston. End of our services.

- If you purchase your airline ticket on your own, the transfers from the airport to the hotel upon arrival and from the hotel to the airport are not included in the land package. Therefore, they are your responsibility. If you buy the tickets through us, these transfers are already included in the ticket price.

- Individuals will be grouped on flights as they sign up, and we strongly encourage early commitment while seats are available. Although we will attempt to group everyone on the same flight, this will be subject to availability at the time of booking.
