Day 1 – 10/23 – Friday – BOSTON / TEL AVIV At the scheduled time, check in for your flight to Tel Aviv. Overnight onboard.

​

Day 2 – 10/24 – Saturday – Arrival in TEL AVIV Arrival in Tel Aviv in the afternoon, assistance with baggage procedures. Transfer to the hotel, check-in, dinner and overnight.

​

Day 3 – 10/25 – Sunday – TEL AVIV – TIBERIAS Breakfast. Visit the city of Tel Aviv-Jaffa. Visit Joppa – associated with the prophet Jonah and the whale, and the house of Simon the Tanner where Peter stayed for a time. Continue along the Via Maris to Caesarea Maritima, the ancient Roman city built by Herod the Great on the Mediterranean coast. There we will visit the ruins of the ancient city and the Roman theater and view the ancient aqueduct built in that era. Lunch included: Falafel – typical dish. Proceed to Mount Carmel – Muhraka – site of Elijah’s contest against false gods. We will have a view of the entire Valley of Armageddon. Arrival at the hotel in Tiberias, check-in, dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – 10/26 – Monday – TIBERIAS – GALILEE Breakfast. Visit the First Century Boat Museum; boat ride on the Sea of Galilee (worship with Joshua Aaron); continue to the Mount of Beatitudes – site of the Sermon on the Mount. Capernaum – fishing village where Jesus began his ministry, including Peter’s mother-in-law’s former house where Jesus stayed and the ancient synagogue where he preached. Visit Tabgha – site of the multiplication of the loaves and fish – and the Primacy of Peter on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Finish at the Jordan River. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – 10/27 – Tuesday – TIBERIAS - BETHLEHEM - JERUSALEM Breakfast. Begin at Beth Shean, travel south through the Jordan Valley, passing Jericho, view of the Mount of Temptation, Elisha’s spring and Zacchaeus’s sycamore. Visit Bethany – Al-Eizariya – tomb of Lazarus. Arrival in Bethlehem and visit to the Church of the Nativity and the Shepherds’ Field – the site where angels announced Jesus’ birth to the shepherds. Hotel check-in, dinner and overnight.

Day 6 – 10/28 – Wednesday – JERUSALEM Breakfast. Begin at the Mount of Olives and walk the Palm Sunday route to the Garden of Gethsemane. Continue to Mount Zion, visit the Cenacle – site of the Last Supper. Enter the Old City via Zion Gate; visit the Jewish Quarter including the Cardo; the ruins of Herod’s Palace and finish at the Western Wall and the southern steps of the Temple at the Davidson Center. City of David; Hezekiah’s Tunnel; Pool of Siloam. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 7 – 10/29 – Thursday – JERUSALEM – MASADA – DEAD SEA - JERUSALEM Breakfast. Travel to Masada – Herod’s fortress, the last stronghold of the Jews before the Roman capture. Visit Ein Gedi and the Dead Sea, time to enjoy the therapeutic waters of the Dead Sea. Return to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8 – 10/30 – Friday – JERUSALEM Breakfast. Tour the new city, view the Knesset – Israel’s Parliament; Israel Museum – including the Second Temple Period Model and the Shrine of the Book; Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Center. Afternoon free to stroll Machane Yehuda and Ben Yehuda streets. Dinner and overnight.

Day 9 – 10/31 – Saturday – JERUSALEM Breakfast. Ascend to the Temple Mount, then proceed to the Pools of Bethesda. Time of worship at St. Anne’s. Follow the Via Dolorosa through the Old City and finish the day at the Garden Tomb – HOLY COMMUNION. Free time for shopping in the Arab market. Evening departure for the Light Show at the Tower of David. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 10 – 11/01 – Sunday – JERUSALEM / BORDER / JERASH / AMMAN Breakfast. Transfer to the Israel–Jordan border. Visa procedures. Continue to Jerash – tour the ruins of the Roman city: Hadrian’s Arch, the Hippodrome, the Oval Forum, South Theater, Cardo Maximus, Cathedral Complex, Nymphaeum, Temple of Artemis, North Theater, etc. Arrival at the hotel in Amman, check-in, dinner and overnight.

Day 11 – 11/02 – Monday – AMMAN / WADI RUM Breakfast. Transfer to the Bedouin camp in the Wadi Rum desert – an impressive desert landscape also known as the “Valley of the Moon.” Cross the desert in 4x4 jeeps with a local guide where the legendary Lawrence of Arabia stayed with his Bedouin allies during World War I. Time for a camel ride. Sunset in Wadi Rum. Tonight enjoy a special Bedouin dinner: Zarb, a mix of meats such as lamb and chicken with rice, potatoes and carrots, cooked in a pit filled with hot coals. Overnight in Wadi Rum in a “bubble” room.

Day 12 – 11/03 – Tuesday – WADI RUM / PETRA Breakfast. Depart for Petra. Visit the ancient Nabatean capital from the 3rd century BC, carved into rose-colored rock. Pass through the narrow canyon to the central city area with its Nabatean, Roman and Byzantine monuments: the Treasury (featured in the Indiana Jones film), the royal tombs, the necropolis, the theater, etc. Hotel check-in, dinner. Evening outing: PETRA BY NIGHT.

Day 13 – 11/04 – Wednesday – PETRA / MADABA / MOUNT NEBO / DEAD SEA Breakfast. Transfer to Madaba and visit St. George’s Orthodox Church, home of the earliest mosaic map of Palestine. Continue to Mount Nebo, offering a viewpoint similar to Moses’ view of the Promised Land. Arrival at the Dead Sea, check-in and time to enjoy a therapeutic mud bath in the mineral-rich waters. Dinner and overnight.

Day 14 – 11/05 – Thursday – DEAD SEA / TEL AVIV Breakfast. At the agreed time, transfer to the Israel border and continue to Tel Aviv. Hotel check-in. Afternoon free for city activities. Dinner and overnight.

Day 15 – 11/06 – Friday – TEL AVIV / Airport / BOSTON At the agreed time, transfer to Tel Aviv airport for the return flight to Boston. End of our services!
